Scale, or lime scale, is a result of hardened calcium and mineral deposits that have dried and adhered to a surface. Over time calcium deposits can etch the tile surface causing the tile to look dull and faded prematurely. Using a pool tile cleaning service to keep your pool tile free from calcium and mineral deposits can prolong the life of your tile and save you thousands in expensive tile repairs and replacement. We clean pool tile using an environmentally friendly soft abrasive mineral, safe for all types of pool tile. There are no toxic or harsh chemicals used during our process. Here is what you should expect when choosing us for your tile cleaning job:
- We will remove enough water to expose the tile line.
- Your tile will be cleaned using top of the line equipment by our experienced owner, Glenn Davis.
- Once the cleaning is complete, we will apply a protective tile sealant and begin re filling the pool.
- The pool will be vacuumed to remove most of the media debris. We use a separate vacuum collection tank so the debris will not end up in your filter. Any debris left behind will dissolve and/or be picked up by your pool sweep.
- The pool will remain cloudy and will require extra filtration during this time. You will need to monitor your run times accordingly.
- The cleaning time can vary from job to job. Typically, a cleaning will range from 4-6 hours. Larger pools, or tile with excessive buildup will take longer.
We can clean some fountains, infinity walls, and other types of water features.
